Stewart H. Welch, III founded his company in 1984. He is the Senior Member of The Welch Group, LLC which specializes in providing fee-only Wealth Management services to young professionals, affluent families and retirees throughout the United States. He has appeared on various TV and radio shows including CNN (NY), Fox News Network (NY), CNBC (NJ) and his opinions have been sought out by the national press including Wall Street Journal, Fortune, Money and The Street.com. A Certified Financial Planner™ practitioner since 1983, Mr. Welch is a past member of the Board of Directors for the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Inc. He also has served on the Charles Schwab & Co., Inc. Institutional Advisory Board and as president of the Birmingham Estate Planning Council.
