Onya Therapeutics is a dynamic young company developing treatments for wounds using unique, patented technologies. I am responsible for the managment of the quality, health and safety of the business and employees, providing support to the team in Abertillery, Wales.

Responsible for the overall strategic development of CHD-FA, ensuring technical, scientific and clinical compliance in accessing relevant markets.

My roles within Biophys have included technical consulting on molecular biology applications and biotechnology, pathogen detection in food and water industries, implementing quality management systems and auditing.Projects with Biophys Ltd have included the successful certification of ISO 9001 Quality Management System and MHRA Warehouse Distributors License (WDL) for BBI Healthcare in Wales, and to provide scientific and technical advice to the National Oceanographic Centre in Southampton (NOCS) in their development of an aseptic sampling platform for a microbial ecology project in Antarctica.I provided Fulvimed SA (PTY) LTD, a complementary medicines and nutritional supplement manufacturer, with support in developing their Quality Management System for successful certification to ISO 22000 and preparing the business to comply with ICH Q7 GMP for API manufacture.More recently I have provided quality, health and safety advice to Hardshell UK Ltd, a start-up company manufacturing Type IIR Face Masks as Medical Devices and FFP2/FFP3 Masks as PPE in response to the Covid-19 pandemic. My role was to prepare the business for successful certification against ISO 13485:2016 QMS for Medical Devices and implement an eQMS.
