Although by title it would indicate I have a predominately "Technical"​ role, this is not entirely accurate. In addition to safety and risk management, I oversee the day to day and future development of MegaZip - $4mil SGD turnover per annum including managing the P&L for the park, Secondary spend and Explore (mobile attractions) businesses. These businesses equate to around 200,000 guests interactions per year.One of my first projects after joining was leading the launch of an entirely new ride; MegaBounce (a 4 in 1 trampoline bungy) including BCA/SCDF Licence approvals under the Amusement Ride Safety Act 2011 (ARSA2011) renowned to be one of the most strict schemes of its time in the world, development of corresponding SOP's, maintenance, commercial aspects and staff training. There are currently 6 MegaBounce units in operation in Singapore (2015). Each is very successful resulting in a substantial healthy EBIDTA.My second project was the installation of a new CBS (continuous belay system) for the ClimbMax challenge course attraction - SafeRoller; complete with locking carbiners. The installation had to be undertaken whilst the attraction remained operational to the public hence a detailed plan was developed to ensure everyones safety and to minimise disruption.I led the rope access team for the Singapore Flyer rope access food and water replenishment in the case of prolonged stoppages whilst jointly developing the SOP for this contract.Procurement and negotiation for automated off ride video system - USTAR - A world first using RFID tagging, post visit automatic sale tactics, complete with a bespoke CRM system; both front end/back end development engaging local suppliers meeting the specification provided written by myself.Managing numerous other modifications under the ARSA2011.I was ride manager for 8 rides under the ARSA2011 - 1 MAJOR, 1 OTHER and 6 MINOR rides and have excellent relations with the governing authorities in Singapore.
