I'm an electronic design engineer with 15 years of active experience in electronic control and monitoring systems. Some of my highlights include the project management of the WILMA (Wayside Intelligent Long-stress Management and Analysis System) on the 861 km Sishen–Saldanha railway line. I also led the annual electromagnetic interference survey for the entire Gautrain line, where induction testing and RF emission testing were performed. I also have extensive experience with software programming, hardware design, and manufacturing in the following fields, lighting, automation, Robotics, and the railway industry. I recently managed the manufacturing of a South African locomotive data acquisition system, where I interacted with manufacturers in Shenzhen China, and finally performed the factory acceptance tests for the completed units in Shenzhen. I also have a passion for the entire life cycle of a product, from concept to completion.
