As an employee in Teknikk AS, I work in team and together with the costumers to deliver a total package of equipment, calculations and drawings for contractors.My main work involves temporary support structures for bridges, free span solutions with trusses (R600 & R800 systems) and traditional falsework (Rapidshor) solutions.I also help our customers to solve solutions for wall and slab support for the construction of concrete buildings, dams, retaining walls, and all sort of constructions needing temporary works solutions.Some key lines:- Finding optimal solutions for customer.- Drawing proposals and final drawings for building.- Calculations required for the temporary works. - Quantities.- Visual inspections of the temporary works before concrete pouring is initiated.- On-site visits.- Follow-up and helping the customer reach their goals.- Working with a highly qualified and diverse team.- Creating tools for the engineers, salesmen and Teknikk AS/Maxbo Teknikk to automate manual tasks.- Following up our 3rd party software suppliers, making sure the Technical Department are up-to-date on the latest software, as well as collaborating with the suppliers to add useful functions to their software that can benefit them and us.- Some of the software we currently use: AutoCAD (with additional 3rd party add-ons for temporary works), Revit (with additional 3rd party add-ons for temporary works), MathCAD, Beam3, Focus Konstruksjon, Excel, Solibri.- Brainstorming with colleagues in all kind of matters.- Training new employees in software, products and calculations Teknikk AS/Maxbo Teknikk use for temporary works.

Worked in the Tie-In Department as a Design Engineer. Were working on Kongsbergs horizontal connection system (THOR) for subsea eqiupment and development of tools for this system (cleaning tool and seal replacement tool). Adapting the system to work for any situation and focusing on a easy-to-use, strong and cost-reducing product.Used Autodesk Inventor for all prototyping and products.Some of the work I've been involved in:- Development of tools for KOGT connection system (THOR), seal replacement and cleaning tool. Been working at the drawings and testing of the prototype, to finalize the drawings for the final product. The tools are working!- The Mariner project for Statoil (Now Equinor) uses our THOR-system, were I've been finalizing models and drawings for the machining and assembling.- The Ivar Aasen project we delivered to Det Norske are using our THOR-system. Finalized models and drawings, and attended the Shallow Water Test (SWT) to confirm that it works as intended. Also tested our cleaning and seal replacement tools in a Shallow Water Test (SWT), which worked out great! Spent a lot of hours in the workshop, doing everything from testing of functions to refurbishment and assembling of components, both for the THOR and the tools. - The Polarled project KOGT delivered to Statoil (Now Equinor), consists of an FSP (Fundation Sliding Plate), PLEM (Pipeline End Manifold) and PLR (Pig Launcher and Reciever). I've been assembling equipment, done FAT's (Final/Fabrication Acceptance Test) and done all other necessary work to finalize them. There have been a lot of learning concerning design, production and assembling. I spent 3-4months (April 2015-July 2015) in the workshop at this projects, working alongside welders, assemblers and everyone else involved in the project, getting my hands dirty.- I worked on several tenders, drawing solutions for the jobs. We won 3/3 possible. Other tenders got either cancel or frozen by clients due to the oil-crisis.

Summer internship 2013 at the bridge department. I worked with 3D-modeling of the new Tana bridge, and some strength calculations and modeling of new bridge-crossings over the Oslo fjord.

Summer internship 2012. I worked at the build-site of the new hydropower plant in Haukeli, Norway. I followed up the contractors work, and answered any questions they had during construction. I also looked at and suggested ways to remove the old power plant at the same location.

Summer intern for several years. Worked in and around several power-plants, where my tasks span from clearing areas for trees, painting, putting up new fences and other work related to refurbishment in and around the power-plants.

Driver for a 3-man team. Drove BV-206 and created communication-arrays over vast areas between several battalions. Attended the Cold Response 2009 exercise.
