The Vibe program was established to ensure fulfillment of the core strategy “no. 1 customer experience”. Headed a portfolio of projects to make Telenor’s digital channels on pair or ahead of our competitors. Vibe is still seen as one of the most successful projects in Telenor.

Leading Portals in Customer Experience in Telenor Norway.Portals managed Telenor’s web portals included Telenor’s mobile portals and IPTV portal.

Manager for the department Home Networking (HN) in the Telenor Broadband & Consumer Services (BCS) operation in Telenor Fixed - Product & IS.HN is responsible for the customer installations of more than half a million customers in Norway, and growing. This includes customer equipment for xDSL and Fiber, VoIP and IPTV as well as the installation software and management of the customer home network. HN is also managing the customer installation contractors (Bredbåndspatruljen), tenders, CPE logistics and product strategy. The managerial job has a key role to ensure an economic healthy Internet broadband service operation to meet the increasing demand for cost reduction as well as creating new business opportunities with new functionality and technology.

Product Manager for Telenor CPEs (Customer-premises Equipment) and customer “DIY” self installation for the Norwegian residential marked. Main goals were to support the Telenor broadband products with the right CPEs, ensure high quality and low fault rate in installed base, reduce cost on handling of CPEs, reduce customer support and co-ordinate the projects dependent on CPE functionality and management.The job included being the enquirer for new hardware and functionality, contract and price negotiations, approve new products, follow up product strategy, logistics and management of the installed base.

Technical manager for customer-premises equipment for the broadband residential marked. This included specification, proposal, testing and approval of new customer equipment.

Consulting for the Telenor marked division, Online ADSL. Main focus technical project management and product development. Connecting link between technical departments and marketing department.

During my first 4 years in Telenor, I worked with a multiple of Telenor business areas and external companies; Telenor Fixed, Telenor R&D, Telenor Broadcast, Telenor Consumer, NRK, TV2, resulting in a wide range of technical experience and knowledge of working in different business areas. In the beginning, roles were mostly on the technical side working on IP Services and IPTV technologies. This gradually shifted to project management and product development. Through 2003 I was project manager for “Hybrid TV” a joint project between Telenor and NRK with the divergence of TV and web as scope. Telenor CTO was the project originator.
