Laboratory Assistant for Object-Oriented Programming in Java

• I continued the project I began during the Internship program, completing tasks and gaining more experience using all of the microservices.• I developed a new library built on the OpenAPI solution, using Java vanilla development and the Jackson Library for JSONs handling. This library utilized a jar file to automatically generate package.json and node modules for the front-end. In order to integrate the solution into the pipeline, I created Docker images, using Docker-compose, and incorporated Yarn into existing images.• I continued optimizing existing solutions by removing hardcoded configurations and moving them to Kubernetes configmaps based on DEV/UAT/PROD environments.• I worked with Grafana to monitor the performance of endpoints, improving them using Hazelcast as a cache solution.• I implemented unit and integration tests for all endpoints, adhering to minimum coverage requirements for every MR, and then used Swagger and Postman to test the implementation.• As a team, we continuously improved our ability to develop business solutions and communicated with business stakeholders and automation testers, participating in demo sessions.• Embracing continuous growth, I served as a Mentor for the BCR Team at the HackITAll Hackathon on December 4-5, 2021, assisting competitors in maximizing their performance.Working with, but not limited to: Java 11, Spring Core 5, Spring Boot 2, Spring Data JPA/Hibernate, Oracle/Postgresql, Flyway, WebClient, MapStruct/ModelMapper, Docker, Kubernetes, Open Shift 4, Argo, JUnit5/Mokito, Test Containers, Sonarqube.
