I am Senior Country Relations & Investment Officer at the European Investment Bank (EIB), where I oversee public sector operations in Mongolia and Vietnam. Previously, I served as a Senior Loan Officer for banking sector operations in West Africa. Upon joining the EIB, I was a Senior Economist, responsible for sovereign and banking sector risk ratings in Central African countries, and for coordinating EIB’s Finance in Africa report. Additionally, I am Adjunct Lecturer in Macroeconomic Policies at the University of Luxembourg.Before my tenure at the EIB, I held various positions, including Economist at the IMF’s Africa Department, Economist at the OECD’s Development Centre, Investment Strategist for ING, and Assistant Professor of Macroeconomics and International Economics at Northeastern University. I hold a joint B.A.-M.A. (summa cum laude) in Economics from the University of Liège, Belgium, and a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of California, Berkeley.
