2005 started with the work to design, build and run Schmäck in central Umeå. Schmäck was a café, gallery, chocolaterie, design store and a natural meeting point for the cultural life in Umeå. I did the drawings for the interior and led the construction work on site. When opened, the daily work included everything of running a small business. For example: business planning and development of the business offer, personnel matters, facility maintenance, administration, food and product orders, as well as contact with customers, suppliers and authorities, all beside the part of serving in the café.
