The idea behind Young Sisters came from a desire to encourage more women to invest. The members of Young Sisters are either daughters of or investors themselves in Feddie Ocean Distillery.The purpose of Young Sisters is to create a joint network for young women where they together can learn to manage the company's capital. Our network of women aged 20-35 works to reduce the gap between women and men in the investment market.Together, we will show that women should and must be part of influencing value creation and the world we live in. We believe the future is important, which is why we make conscious choices with our investments. With our commitment, we want to inspire more young women to help influence, learn and take risks.

I worked as a Digital Manager for PHD Norway, where my focus was media-buying within the digital media landscape. I continued to develop my skills within social media and worked on a wide range of different client projects.

I worked on developing the B2B marketing strategy and brand profile for Unite Living. I also worked with our social media profiles, create newsletters for current and potential clients, as well as manage our marketing efforts across all platforms.

Guest lecturing in Digital Engagement - Fall semester

My time as a Marketing Management Director was spent largely promoting our different events through a variety of social media outlets. The position taught me a great deal about using social media and how to target a key audience through different forms of communication, and how to time your posts in order to gain maximum exposure. I also gained valuable connections within the Business School at the University of Edinburgh, and I learned about how a large society like the Business Society functions, which I have taken with me into my role as President for the Scandinavian Society.

I interned with Grieg Star Shipping, where I was fortunate enough to learn about the different departments that come together in a shipping company. Through my time spent in the Human Resources department, I was in charge of the daily mail and processing the invoices coming in from suppliers and ships. My job taught me about programmes such as Eyeshade, and I gained knowledge in how to process invoices into different systems. The tasks challenged my understanding of legal documents, and I gained valuable knowledge about handling a variety of documents and letters. My job tasks also included managing the office area and sending documents to the ships, and I learned about the core values of a shipping company and the importance of working independently. Working for a dynamic company such as Grieg Star Shipping taught me invaluable lessons about the importance of company dynamics, and how vital it is for all employees to feel important and heard in order to maximise efficiency and employee satisfaction.

I worked as a Customer Service representative during the summer and Christmas of 2014 and summer of 2015, where my time was spent answering emails and phone calls from customers regarding their orders. My training included how to handle customers, the Navision computer program and the day-to-day workings of our different computer systems used in handling the cases brought to us by customers.

Dealing with the customer's requests and questions, printing and editing photos, working the register and helping the customers find the products that suited their needs.

Interned with the Georgia Ports Authority, where I learned about their Trade Development Sector and was fortunate enough to spend three months working close with the different units of the Trade Development Sector. My tasks included (but were not limited to):- Creating connections between the port and the counties in Georgia in order to promote industrial and economic development- Developing spreadsheets to present statistics about the emails and phone calls that come through the Client Relations Center- Update various necessary information for the senior staff- Participating in brainstorming meetings with senior staffI was also fortunate enough to be able to sit in on various meetings and observe how the port is planning for the future, and how they handle current and future clients. Also, I have sat in on meetings between U.S Customs and current clients, where I learned about the different challenges of importing and exporting goods through the Savannah port. I have also been trained in WebAcess and Express, two programs that the port use to in order to keep track of where the cargo is located, and provides information about the different companies the port deals with. Lastly, I have also been fortunate enough to be trained in the shipping "lingo", where the focus was on teaching me about the different aspects of shipping a good from start to finish. The shipping language was also a significant part of this training, where I learned about different abbreviations and terms the shipping community uses.
