It was an exciting moment for our rooms department to see the property ranked in the top 10 properties on Tripadvisor.com when we reopened the Clevelander after renovations.

I started as an At Your Service agent and was cross trained as a front desk agent two months after starting. Less than half a year later, I was promoted to the front desk supervisor role and a year later to Assistant Front Desk Manager. The property was a 40 year old property at the time and needed several renovations at the time. Under the Marriott brand, we focused strongly on improving our guest satisfaction scores. My major project throughout my tenure was improving our property's score of making our loyal Marriott Rewards members feel recognized and appreciated. I also oversaw the Marriott Rewards enrollment program at our property increasing the enrollments two-fold. I was honored to be the recipient of 12 Marriott's Spirit to Serve awards and the be nominated for the 2007 Greater Miami Inn Key Awards Front Office Associate of the Year.
