I perform general sanitation jobs as well as feeding and watering cats. I aid in socialization and in my role as an Assistant Adoption Counselor introduce cats to potential adopters. I monitor human-cat interactions and answer any and all questions adopters may have about our organization, volunteer work, cat care, and how to facilitate a peaceful introduction of a cat to a home or to other animals. I have performed several adoptions.

Put in citations, sell and allocate parking passes and permits, submit appeals and billing, handle emails, and general complaints and questions from the public, provide general assistance to Campus Safety officers.

As a black belt (and a senior student in general), I helped teach classes and mentored younger/more junior students. I helped my dojo set up and run tournaments, judging matches and well as competing myself.I have studied karate since 2005 and continue to do so.

Although I had volunteered at KC Animal Clinic for three years previously, 2017 was the first year I was an employee. I opened up the clinic; checked pets in and out; interacted with clients; monitored, exercised, and fed the pets (generally dogs and cats, but occasionally hamsters, guinea pigs, or exotics); maintained general sanitation around the clinic; and whatever else I may be asked to do on any given day.

I volunteered as part of the ZooTeen Program for two years. The first year I worked in the farm area, cleaning exhibits and the general area, feeding animals, grooming animals, exercising animals, and carrying out educational animal interactions with the guests. The second year I worked in the equine area, cleaning exhibits and the general area, feeding animals, grooming animals, exercising animals, interacting with guests, cleaning equipment, and restocking materials.
