As a translator for Roberto Escobar, I had the pleasure of experiencing many incredible moments and learning valuable lessons during my time working with him. Throughout our time together, Roberto and I developed a strong friendship that would later prove to be the driving force behind the creation of the museum where he currently resides, known as Casa Roberto Escobar Gaviria.Roberto Escobar is the oldest brother of Pablo Escobar, a legendary figure in the history of the Medellin Cartel. However, during my time with Roberto, I was able to see a different side of him - a side that was dedicated to preserving the legacy of his family and their history.One of my favorite memories with Roberto was when he showed me his impressive collection of vintage bicycles. As an avid cyclist, Roberto was always excited to share his passion for cycling with others. He even encouraged me to take up the sport myself, which I did, and it has become a beloved hobby of mine ever since.Working with Roberto was an incredibly enriching experience. He taught me the importance of hard work, dedication, and perseverance. He also instilled in me a deep appreciation for history and the need to preserve it for future generations. It was this passion that led to the creation of the museum, which houses an incredible collection of artifacts and memorabilia related to the Escobar family.I am grateful for the opportunity to have worked with Roberto and to have been a part of the creation of the museum.
