At Trapeze Networks, I built an Operations team consisting of 13 highly talented experts driving supply chain, manufacturing engineering, test engineering, purchasing, international logistics, and quality. I delivered product cost reductions of $4M+/yr in 2008 and 2009 by moving production from US contract manufacturing to Asia ODM manufacturing at Accton, Alpha Networks, Wistron, and Lite-On. I designed and implemented a highly scalable fully outsourced supply chain utilizing outsourced 3PL logistics and Asia Tier 1 ODM manufacturing. I am a skilled negotiator of supply contracts to ensure cost, quality and delivery performance. I implemented ESS (Environmental Stress Screening), root cause analysis, and in-factory quality tracking to ensure the highest product quality to our customers.

Responsible for product realization through contract manufacturers and off-shore ODMs, company-wide Information Technology (desktops, servers, applications), and building facilities/security.

The EDN division of Nortel networks designs and delivers solutions that include the BayStack stackable Ethernet switching portfolio, the wireless LAN portfolio of APs and controllers, Alteon web switching and content caching products, and the Passport core switching platform:- Leader of supply chain operations program managers, test engineers, supply managers, manufacturing engineers, and quality.- Designed and implemented supply chains for $150M of new WLAN and Ethernet Switching product launches- Drove a $4.3M cost reduction on next-generation Gig-to-the-desktop Ethernet switch (Nortel 5510 switch)- Supply Chain responsibility for a $250M portfolio of networking products: security appliances and switches, wireless LAN products, blade server switching products for IBM and HP, and Layer 2-3 Ethernet wiring closet switches.- Designed and implemented a supply chain model to enable $40M of federally-compliant sales to US govt. entities in 2004.
