I established Freedom Clinical Psychology, a therapy practice in London and Sydney. Aswell as running those practices, I work on Harley Street and offer consultation to organisations looking to improve culture, leadership and improve team performance.I have been fortunate to work in a number of contexts with a variety of service user groups and professional teams in mental health, physical health and social care settings in the UK and Australia. Through this work, I have developed my ability to be creative, reflective and flexible in my work. I have valued the opportunity to learn from the service users and colleagues with whom I have spent time. I feel fortunate to work as a clinical psychologist and continue to develop my skills as a therapist, consultant, leader, trainer, researcher and advocate. Working in complex systems has been both challenging and rewarding and I have become interested in critical and community psychology as well as dialogical approaches to supporting individuals and networks in a variety of contexts.• Experience working in mental health services (early detection and intervention, inpatient and secondary care, outpatient), forensic services (low secure), health settings (paediatric craniofacial surgery, palliative care and oncology) and neuropsychology (child, adult, outpatient and community services)• Experience of working with CBT (primarily third-wave; ACT, CFT and mindfulness-based approaches), short-term dynamic psychotherapy, systemic family therapy and Open Dialogue.• Co-authored a book for aspiring clinical psychologists, titled ‘Becoming a Clinical Psychologist: Everything you need to know’ which is available on Amazon.com• Established the Liverpool and Sydney branches of Café Psychologique which enables people from the community to come together to discuss topic from a psychological perspective
