As the application development manager I was tasked to “lead technically” as it relates to analysis, design, planning, feasibility, organization and coordination of software development projects. Working with a truly phenomenal group of individuals we were able to create a “deployment pipeline” with the capabilities of streaming IT value to our customers. The FinanceSource™ Program, an integrated, credit, funding, pricing, and imaging solution for North American VW and Audi dealers, was one of our more notable achievements. With the exception of an Oracle backend we worked exclusively on the Microsoft stack (Windows Server 2008R2/2012), .NET 4.5, ASP.NET MVC 4, EF 5, WCF, WIF, ADFS). In additional to the technical component of my job I had the responsibility of managing the developer resources on the team. This includes coaching and mentoring as well as facilitating regular performance reviews and appraisals for my 11 direct reports.

Worked with the Business Stakeholders and the Enterprise Architects in further refining the business requirements. Lead development effort on several modules of the application written in C#, utilizing Telerik and Infragistics Ajax enabled controls. Authored white-papers to share technical solutions with other members of the geographically dispersed development team.

Developed insurance rating software using 4GL object orientated language. Developed C# windows application to utilize rating system’s COM interface to port data from legacy systems. Initiated and managed the implementation of the project review tool used company-wide to evaluate completed tasks to improve work-flow and eliminate unnecessary costs. Established high definition requirements tailored to meet ongoing customer needs.
