Alberta's Crown Corporation responsible for Sport in the Province of Alberta, Canada.The Government of Alberta (GOA) took the extraordinary step of dissolving instantly this Crown Corporation in October 2019 and absorbing the Sport element back within the GOA under the Ministry of Culture, Multiculturalism, and the Status of Women. As such, my volunteer role ceased after one year. The CSI - Calgary continues to be the leading performance and Olympic sport training and support centre for Canada's Winter Olympic sports. In addition, the CSI - Calgary supports the other CSIs across Canada in their support of Canada's Summer Olympic sport teams and developmental athletes. From coaching to sport science and medicine, the CSI network provides exemplary services to assist Canada in the pursuit of the country's sport performance objectives.
