Rautomead Limited are UK-based specialists in continuous casting of non-ferrous metals and construction of continuous casting equipment for copper, copper alloys, gold and silver, dental alloys and feed rod for Conform machines.For a period of over 30 years Rautomead Limited has specialised in the design, manufacture and sale of continuous casting equipment for non-ferrous metals and alloys. There are now more than 300 Rautomead machines in operation in over 45 different countries around the world.Responsible for managing the Customer Services Department and troubleshooting customers problems. I also provide in house technical support to the sales, engineering and manufacturing departments.Worked for several years as Project/Design/Installation and Commissioning engineer before taking charge of customer services. Was closely involved with the start up of the first Rautomead vertical upwards casting machines for Cu-OF.Introduced a Microsoft CRM system including customising and developing the software to meet the sales department needs.

Initially employed as a Graduate Apprentice but soon moved to the PTLO (Prototype test Liaison Office) writing test procedures and visiting suppliers to conduct acceptance tests on Submarine marine engineering equipment.Then moved to the MDO (Marine Design Office) and worked as a Marine Design engineer managing the design iteration and change process and trouble shooting equipment under test.

Completed a 4 Year cadetship (marine engineering apprenticeship) followed by a period at sea as an assistant engineer officer,Achieved a 4th Class certificate of competency and took charge of engine room watches at sea.
