I am a Mechanical Design intern at Brandt Engineering Inc, an engineering firm specializing in Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing design. Before that, I spent over 14 years in underground utility construction. Over that time, I gained transferable skills in teamwork, time management, communication, coordination, and small team management. I also learned to adapt to complications that arise in real jobs, and to apply past experience to solve those problems. I have proficiency in CAD software, and learn new skills quickly.Currently, I am making a career transition into mechanical engineering design. I graduated from John Tyler Community College in the Spring of 2022 with an Associate of Science specialized in Engineering, and now work towards my Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering at VCU.
