I have a Master’s Degree and have worked for Intermountain for twelve-years. I started in Human Resources as an Employment Specialist where I coordinated the employment process for the Urban Central Region: Behavioral Health, Clinics, Laboratory Services, Rehab, Research, Sleep Lab, and Surgical Services. I very much enjoyed working with managers to post positions, organize and attend career fairs and other recruitment activities such as contacting new graduates about employment opportunities, reviewing applications, conducting interviews and, making offers of employment, following pre-employment testing and background check. Maintained employment records to assure accuracy and compliance with Federal, State, and company regulations I also oversaw Leadership Principles, quarterly training for new managers.My current roll is Code Based Reimbursement Analyst. My duties include performing Retrospective and Concurrent Audits. Confirm that processes are working. Identify compliance risks. Identify reimbursement opportunities. Provide facts to aid decision making for services, work flow etc. Maximize the revenue stream, and timely reimbursement. Liaison to: Cardio Vascular, Emergency, Imaging, Infusion, Laboratory Services, Nursing Units, Pharmacy, Rehab, Respiratory, Sleep Lab and Wound Care. I also served on Alta View Hospital’s Employee Advisory Council; serving as the Chair for Rivalry Week and Diversity Week. I am currently serving a second term as the Employee Engagement Committee Representative for Alta View and Riverton Hospitals for the Urban Central Region.I have worked at Alta View Hospital, Cottonwood Hospital, Intermountain Medical Center, LDS Hospital, Logan Regional Hospital, McKay-Dee Hospital Center, Primary Children’s Medical Center, TOSH, and Wasatch Canyons Campus.
