I sell for minority-owned businesses (MBEs) and help Fortune 500 companies efficiently achieve their supplier diversity and inclusion objectivesBefore founding Minority Sales Corporation, I was as a Vice President of a New York bank, where I worked with diverse international teams to solve large companies’ problems and to sell to those companies, by knowing the companies well and building long term relationships. Opportunities to help banking clients often came from identifying where things were not as they ought to be because of an inefficiency in the market. That’s what I saw in supplier diversity: there were interested buyers and able suppliers, but not as much business was being done as there ought to be. It seemed that the breakdown was often in the selling / buying process.I have spent the last 20 years selling for MBEs and being active in the supplier diversity world, including serving as Vice Chair of the Carolinas Virginia Minority Supplier Development Council.Minority Sales Corporation has practiced what we preach from the beginning: a minority-owned law firm incorporated our business, and we opened our first checking account at a minority-owned bank.
