You realize you need to tell your story. Your parents are aging and you want them to tell their story so that grandchildren will better understand their family and the values that made them strong. You realize getting this project off the ground is daunting. You need to hand over this responsibility to someone—I’m your person!I work with individuals who realize the importance of family and stories. As part of this process I record our conversational interview, develop a transcript from our conversation and from that develop a story using their words. Using their pictures—and purchasing pictures where needed to illustrate the material presented—I develop a coffee table book. This is quite often presented to guests at a milestone birthday celebration. To complete this package, an audio DVD is placed in the back of the book. I provide story telling for an individual’s book, guidance on family dynamics in terms of inclusion, direction on style and format, and always get it done on time, rather it be for a main event or a desired completion date. I work in my home office in Huntington Beach, and conduct all conversational interviews in at client location of choice or remotely as requested.
