The district consist of 3 municipalities and approx 100 000 inhabitants. The Police district include a rapid response-, community policing-, investigation- and admin/Public service unit. The district also had the responsibility for Malmo AirPort and the Port of Trelleborg. In total the number of personell supervised was approx. 110.

Chief Superintendent and Senior Police adviserThe main task was to support Palestinian Police in the fields of HR-management, accountability and community policing. The security situation got rapidly worse in the autumn 2015 with stabbings and car rammings. Upon Head of Missions request I stepped in and finalized my tour of duty as Senior Mission Security Officer.

The unit consists of following 6 sections;Criminal intelligence, Joint intelligence team, Surveillance team, Section of informant handlers, Legal Telephone interception and section for covert surveillance Techniques.The task is management with responsibility of operations, budget, personell and liaison. Management level 3 (head of section level 2 and teamleader level 1).
