Coffee Maniac, Empath, Marketing Strategist with a passion to move marketers into a space where they impact rather than promote.Marketing and advertising possess an unexpected set of unique, useful and surprising facets I've come to fall in love with. Using the skills that I have developed as well as the ones I know I'll learn in years to come, my dream is to develop ways in which brands can use their influence to fight for social change as well as to challenge governments and hold them accountable. I've come to understand the influence a brand can have in a community of people from animal lovers to feminists to creatives and how these activist brands can better the world. I've also come to understand the potential that lies in a brand harnessing its influence to support important causes and areas many NPO's are addressing. We have moved from marketing 'feeling' in the 60's and 70's to marketing 'value' in the 90's to marketing 'purpose' today. Brands across the world need to adapt to this to remain relevant to new generations and become influential in the communities they serve.
