With an extensive knowledge base acquired through experience in Sales, Business Development, and Corporate Strategies, combined with nearly a decade of residence in the Middle East, I have assumed the role of Senior Manager within our expanding sales department at our regional company.

Overseeing all sales-related activities for BEUMER Group’s Airports and Logistics business segments in the MEA region, I was tasked to work with a comprehensive portfolio of clients and continuously generate and nurture new leads, whilst managing the entire sales process end-to-end.Results: I successfully projected and exceeded expected sales volume and profit for both existing and new clients, demonstrating a keen ability to forecast and deliver on financial targets consistently. I streamlined the process of responding to RFIs and RFQs, ensuring prompt and accurate submissions that showcased our capabilities and professionalism. I achieved a track record in crafting compelling and tailored strategic proposals. I maintained a vigilant approach to monitoring and analyzing industry trends and results.

Working with a new market segment in the Middle East, alongside advancing BEUMER Group's current businesses, I was appointed as responsible for generating leads and supporting new business revenue. Results: I defined, reported and supported the implementation of strategic initiatives throughout BEUMER Group’s regional entities in the Middle East (UAE, KSA, Qatar, and Kuwait). I successfully devised a comprehensive sales contact plan, outlining the strategies and approaches to engage potential clients. I acted as ambassador for BEUMER Group at industry events, including round tables, speaking forums, and new business events, thereby establishing a strong presence in the industry and fostering valuable connections that contributed to business growth.

Seeking towards exploiting a new business area in the region, I was tasked to conduct a thorough market analysis for BEUMER Group Middle East. I worked very closely with top management, reporting directly to the Sales Director and the Chief Executive Officer throughout this process.Results: I established a comprehensive strategy plan for engaging in the logistics-market of the region. I identified key customers and outlined clear actions to successfully become an actor in this new market of BEUMER Group Middle East. I presented my findings to the core decision making entity in the company, which laid the foundation for creating market analyses in the company moving forward.

My colleague and I were given the opportunity to investigate, analyze and evaluate a new user-oriented web-based initiative by the LEGO Group, which constituted our master's thesis.Results: We discovered motivations and hindrances behind user participation in the LEGO Group’s firm-hosted social bookmarking platform (ReBrick). We analyzed large amounts of consumer data to identify trends and provide solutions. We presented our findings to Senior Management, who were keen on taking our work forward and implement our discoveries into the organization.

The Association of Innovation Management (AIM) is a voluntary union in connection with the Master programme, MSc in Economics & Business Administration (Innovation Management). The purposes of this union are, among others, to connect students with professors, withhold a strong relationship with partners, arrange business meetings and social events, plan study trips, and much more. Results: during my tenure as Chairman, the membership count of the association grew by approximately 70%. I acted as liaison between the members of the association and the Board. I provided leadership and coordinated activities among various functions, and I was the spokesperson for all MSc Innovation Management students at Aarhus University.

During my time as a working student, I had the opportunity to gain valuable experience in various roles, including shopkeeping, waiting/bartending, and working as a factory employee (amongst others).Results: I honed my customer service skills and developed strong communication skills and the ability to work under pressure, leading to positive feedback from customers. I provided in-depth product information and processed sales transactions. I improved my interpersonal skills and product-specific knowledge, helping customers making informed purchase decisions. Further, I learned to work efficiently as part of a team and paid attention to detail to maintain product quality.

I worked as a Brand Manager Assistant at the LEGO Group, where I supported the Nordic Benelux department in gaining a better understanding of the competitive landscape within the region.Results: I successfully completed competitor analyses and effectively communicated the findings to Senior Management through formal presentations, contributing to informed decision-making within the organization.

I served as a travel guide for Hojmark in Bad Gastein, Austria, where I was part of a 12-person guide team responsible for the largest destination within the organization. We catered to over 1,400 visitors during peak weeks.Results: I planned and executed diverse guest activities, whilst managing financial aspects of service offerings. I ensured high guest satisfaction consistently. I offered skiing lessons as a certified Austrian ski teacher ("Anwärter").
