In addition to this I lead the development of all iterations of the framework and tools associated with it for Viatx’s products, creating a highly scalable and unique approach to application development for the ASP market.The e-commerce products taken to market as rented applications by Viatx Ltd, and later on by TelstraClear, were an online storefront creation application, a product catalogue management tool and the largest product, a content management system facilitating the creation and real-time maintenance of a multi-level content-based website. The products were derived from the tools built-in to SQL Server 2000, with a middle tier written in Visual Basic and the front-end entirely developed in XSL.XML messaging was used throughout the system, and indeed XML was the basis for all Viatx development.Technologies: SQL Server 2000 (both development and administration), Visual Basic 6.0 (both web-based and client-server development), XML/XSL, JavaScript, HTML, Visual J++, Visual C++, Visual C#, ASP.NET, eMbedded Visual BasicViatx Ltd was purchased by E-media and I took on the challenge of starting my own software consulting company.
