I recently started my flock of pedigree Icelandic sheep to focus on my grazing and livestock management skills. The sheep are kept for grazing purposes, breeding stock, meat, wool and skins. I believe in letting as little of the animal go to waste, honouring the animal.I set up www.VikingGrazers.uk to promote what I'm doing and to share my story as a blog.I'm also farm sitting for people locally to ensure their livestock are cared for while they need time away from their farms or smallholdings.

Current working in dog training, honing my skills as a trainer and using what I learn to improve people's relationships with their pets.

Refreshing myself with skills, tools and getting myself to a place to start the next stage of my career especially since the start of being aware of Covid19 back in january.Reassessed my own experiences and noting things on each farm that I found positive to the wellbeing of the sheep such as barn layout, physical access for shepherd/farmer, necessary transport access for quads, trailers, tractors etc and things that made myself more efficient.

Care of the trainee guide dog puppies. Feeding, toileting, enrichment, dealing with medical or feed issues, grooming and kennel hygiene.

Lambing contract in Iceland. Helped deliver lambs if necessary, setup and maintain the lambing setup, assist with tagging, turning out ewes and lambs. Twice daily feeding with use of overhead rail/winch delivery system for transport of large bales of haylage.

Lambing contract to help delivery lambs from 1200 ewes.
