Ricardo Barretto is a screenwriter, entrepreneur, and futurist, with a background in cognitive and analytical psychology, and research in superintelligence, neuroscience, longevity medicine, and the intersection of technology and the human psyche. He worked for scientists from Caltech, the former Singularity Institute executive director, the founding engineer of Skype, and a startup in India introduced by Vivek Wadha, fellow entrepreneur from Carnegie Mellon and Singularity University, on projects designed to solve major problems in public health care and traditional medicine through personalized medicine. Following his studies in the seminal online entrepreneurship program at Stanford University, he focused on the power of technology and innovation to bring disruptive and positive changes to society. His current projects include setting up Longevity Clinics and protocols in Mexico and the USA, and disrupting the real estate market by disrupting paradigms of traditional construction. He is currently working on two book projects, one on his personal synchronicity experiences and another as a survival manual for these turbulent times the human psyche is going through. His new feature film should be ready soon, a romance enabled by a controversial future tech, and a 5-season TV series on the impact of AI after it crosses the threshold of criticality.
