My journey has always been centered on helping individuals and organisations not just achieve success, but aim even higher by aligning their progress with their core identity. As a psychologist, my passion lies in identity construction, and I’ve dedicated my career to fostering positive, lasting change. My work has been recognised with an MBE, and I’ve published five times on the subject of identity and change management.I thrive on tackling challenges head-on, and my ability to problem-solve has been proven internationally. One of my key accomplishments was pioneering an identity construction model, which gained international attention and led to the development of a story-based app that won a global innovation initiative. This model not only earned me the MBE but also allowed me to see how powerful storytelling can be in driving personal and organisational change.In addition to my work as a psychologist, I’ve successfully forged a career as a novelist, publishing nine novels—several of which became bestsellers. Writing has allowed me to explore narrative and identity in a creative way, further deepening my understanding of how stories shape our sense of self and guide transformation.Beyond my work in psychology and literature, I’ve influenced key industry conversations through my representation and negotiation work with stakeholders, including the Engineering Council UK. I’ve had the opportunity to present strategies to the House of Commons and House of Lords, helping shift the perception of human factors in engineering, leading to the widespread consideration of reliability, risk, and safety.Currently, I’m an HCPC-registered health psychologist with a particular interest in health, identity, and human rights.
