Patrick Polomsky is an Analyst in the Valuation & Financial Opinions Group at Stout Risius Ross (SRR) and has provided valuation advisory services for numerous purposes including purchase price allocations, goodwill impairment testing, estate and gift taxation, valuation discount opinions, Employee Stock Ownership Plans, management planning, blockage discounts, debt, fairness opinions, solvency opinions, and other tax and financial-related matters.

Participated in Xavier's Student Investment Fund where a group of students managed $1 million of the school's endowment fund in large capital company stocks benchmarked against the S&P 500. I was responsible for researching and running valuation models specifically for the healthcare industry among other duties and responsibilities associated with the Fund, including but not limited to compiling and giving various presentations as well as preparing monthly summary reports.

Assisted professionals in their Personal Lines Auto Pricing Unit. I analyzed premium trends for three states and compared those indications against the rates that were filed. I updated the excess profits calculation for a particular state for the current year and worked in developing credibility standards in every state by coverage to determine how many claims we need to say our numbers were fully credible. I developed a file to handle the town tax situation in a particular state where it calculates the actual tax paid on a town level for written premium. I also looked at 1,000+ claims for commercial lines in their schools' account and identified trends from the results and made recommendations. I also gained experience in the process of filing statewide indications and rate level changes.

I was responsible for creating personal needs analyses for clients and designed "feed lists" for further recruitment within the Akron area.
