I draw on more than twenty years of experience in teacher education, working for the last twelve in leadership at regional, national and international levels and including advisory work on national policy. I can provide a range of consultancy services to university and school-based ITT providers, working on quality assurance, curriculum design, evaluation and trainee recruitment. I have extensive project leadership experience and work with individual teachers and schools to develop high-quality teacher developmentAs an experienced senior leader, I am also highly-skilled in providing leadership development and coaching/mentoring.

Reporting to the Dean of Faculty, I was responsible for the quality, resourcing, strategic direction and scope of our academic portfolio. I led on the recruitment and deployment of staff across a Faculty of 185 academic staff and 4500 students.My disciplinary background is in teacher education, in which I have worked as an academic and senior manager for 26 years.

I was responsible for all aspects of quality, staffing, academic development and budget in a school of 120 academic tutors and 2500 students. Programmes included initial teacher education, master's and doctoral level study in education across the age range.

I led a department in the Faculty of Education which specialised in initial teacher education at the postgraduate level. Programmes included PGCE for primary, secondary and middle years, delivered in online and campus-based modes. I led three OFSTED inspections all to good and outstanding outcomes.
