About Morgan Hein

I believe details matter. I care about the long term viability of every piece of code I write. I think about not only the best way to solve a solution for technical reasons, but also for others who may be working with that code later. This means documentation. This means being idiomatic. This means being a good steward for your future self, and the team.I enjoy people and technology. I have presented to technical crowds; I run the Golang Meetup in Redmond (the heart of Microsoft); I have recorded and published technical tutorials online. I believe in all situations there is room to educate and to be educated. I believe simpler is better. Technology is already complicated enough, that the most elegant solution is usually the easiest to understand. Getting to that point, that is the challenge of a great software architect.I believe in security. Data is important and should be treated as such. Although not my focus as a software developer, it has never been overlooked.Lastly, I believe in being a good citizen. At the very least, I strive to do the right thing. This goes for not only the software I create, but the intent of the software and how that software is used.If your vision matches mine, feel free to reach out.
