The Contemporary Theatre of Ohio's purpose is to harness the transformational power of theatre for the current moment, while inspiring empathy across the community for young people and adults. Through professional mainstage productions, we share stories the illuminate important issues in our community, and make space for meaningful conversations. Additionally, we work with young people of all ages to help them to grow academically, socially, and emotionally through theatre education experiences in the classroom and across the community.In my role, I oversee all administrative functions of the company - marketing, development, accounting, human resources, IT, and ticketing. Provide high quality, client-centric coaching and consulting for nonprofit organizations and corporate clients with budgets ranging from $50,000 to $15 million across the U.S. and Canada. Professionally-trained facilitator and workshop presenter.Designing Customer Experiences, Research & Facilitation:• Managed the Jazz Audiences Initiative, a four-year national study funded by the Doris Duke Charitable Foundation of 15,000+ current and potential jazz ticket buyers. Curated, executed and evaluated programming and marketing experiments from study data. Designed, planned and managed two national convenings for 100 people each.• Create and deliver training for seven national project partners using electronic tools.• Design and present local, regional and national research-based workshops and training sessions.Facilitation, Coaching & Fundraising:• Plan and implement strategic planning and board development using an inquiry-based approach to empower board and staff members, and propel the organizations forward.• Design and lead program evaluation and assessment processes.• Re-designed grant making policies and practices for regional arts organization. Led planning and community conversations resulting in first-ever evidence-based funding criteria and new funding formula.• Secured more than $5 million for employers and clients from corporate and family foundations, national funders, individuals and public agencies through individual appeals and proposal writing.

NAWBO Columbus empowers all women business owners to overcome challenges, realize their true potential and make their mark on the world. We are the premier association in central Ohio for women at any stage in their entrepreneurial journey. Our programming and resources help: 1) develop and grow strong, profitable women-owned businesses; 2) build strategic alliances, coalitions, and affiliations; 3) transform public policy and influence opinion makers; and 4) affect changes in the business culture.

Train and coach speakers through the process of designing an engaging and informative talk for TEDxHilliard. Secured $5,000 in corporate sponsorships to support the event from local businesses.

Recruited for new position to innovate grant making, and implement professional learning opportunities for constituents and staff. Led and managed a four-person team in the development of special projects, partnership building, communication and marketing, arts education, IT and oversight of visual arts gallery. Create content for monthly webinar series, blog posts and e-newsletter articles. Execute statewide conferences.Facilitating & Coaching:• Curate, design and facilitate professional development opportunities and coaching for 400+ constituents and 16 staff members.• Facilitate learning cohort of 18 organizations as part of Ohio’s Creative Aging Initiative.• Implement strategic plan while tracking metrics and analytics to demonstrate success.

Guide program participants through an inquiry-based journey of self-discovery and reflection focused on their personal sense of leadership in their life and work. The ultimate goal is to allow the fellows the time and space to challenge their assumptions and design solutions that are personally meaningful and organizationally relevant for adaptive leadership challenges – those challenges that often lack an immediate solution.The purpose of the Next Generation of Leaders Fellowship Program (NGL) is to identify and personally develop the best and brightest professional administrators in arts and cultural organizations. This program is uniquely designed to guide young professionals, who are often in their late 20’s through 30’s. They are most likely working as directors of education, public relations/marketing managers, assistant directors of development, and special events coordinators.

Served as the project director for a national market segmentation study of current and prospective jazz ticket buyers. We implemented new, data-driven strategies for creating meaningful and relevant customer experiences. Funded in large part by the Doris Duke Charitable Foundation, this project provided ground-breaking information about the ways and places people want to experience live music, especially jazz.

Served as a liaison between Ohio's 8th largest public school district and the business community to plan, lead, and evaluate partnerships in support of the district’s educational goals and programs. Cultivated mentorship opportunities for students, primary oversight of fundraising grantwriting activities. In addition, I supported many public funding campaigns for the district as a staff member, and community volunteer.

Hired as Arts in Education Grants Coordinator, and promoted three times to new positions created to facilitate innovative use of the arts as a community development tool. Oversaw organizational capacity-building programs. Designed, implemented and evaluated programs with budgets totaling nearly $1.5 million. Analyzed 150 grant applications per year.
