• A professional geoscientist with 40 years international experience ranging from wellsite geology and wellsite biostratigraphy to Project Coordinator and Lead Stratigrapher on multi-well basin studies. • An expert analyst and interpretive geologist skilled in making decisions and interpretations based on disparate data of varying degrees of robustness, derived from diverse sources. • A qualified micropalaeontologist trained in pollen, spores, dinoflagellates, chitinozoa, ostracods, foraminifera, conodonts etc. Extensive experience in terrestrial to deep-water marine palynology, palynofacies, biostratigraphy and sequence stratigraphy techniques, with emphasis on teamwork and integration with sedimentology, geochemistry, geophysics and petrophysics. • Extensive experience in putting together regional and local biostratigraphic zonation schemes, with emphasis on the all-important geological context.• Extensive wellsite biostratigraphy experience analysing Tertiary, Mesozoic and Palaeozoic sections.• Recent experience has increasingly focussed on fully integrated biosequence stratigraphy based teamwork and computer applications including mainstream and specialist stratigraphic software.• Current responsibilities include co-ordinating work from a number of biostratigraphy specialists and the application of reservoir-scale high-resolution biostratigraphy along with additional techniques such as paleoclimate determination, isotope stratigraphy, seismic stratigraphy, chemostratigraphy, sedimentology and cyclostratigraphy.
