• Managed ASIC design tasks and leveraged skills acquired while earning an MBA education to take on additional Project Management responsibilities that drove division profitability and enabled improved execution.
• Responsible for generating a three year product plan and schedule for an FBDIMM memory controller ASIC.
• Gathered customer product requirements and feedback while working with a Marketing Director through Sun’s Customer Briefing Center.
• Drove a company wide tool initiative to architect and share a common distributed ASIC control and status register strategy resulting in a 20% cost & time savings involving over 10 separate design teams.
• Developed internal product presentations and presented to audiences of over 300 at industry design conferences.
• Project Lead of data path ASIC for Sun’s SunFire line of products.

• Collaborated with external teams from multiple silicon fabrication vendors to deliver designs on time and within specifications.
• Accountable for product definition, architecture, and implementation of integrated circuits.
• Integral member of test chip ASIC design team.
• Designed system’s cache coherency, DDR II test access logic, and top level chip integration requiring cross-functional teamwork with verification and system QA teams.

• Founded a web design and site hosting company.
• Incorporated an S-Corporation in the state of Illinois with founding partner.
• Responsible for brand creation, customer generation, outbound marketing, PR, budgeting, managerial accounting, and all other aspects of running a web design firm for nearly two years.

• Evaluated a software based JTAG (Boundary-Scan) circuit board testing tool. Solely responsible for the evaluation and recommendation for use of JTAG testing methods in new boards and systems.
