Supported the HR Generalist and the company with specialist HR skills, during two periods:1) 2019 - 2020: HR Administrator - driving HR admin across all departments, performed payroll reconciliations and supported the HR Generalist with recruitment, selection, appointment, staff movements, terminations, incident investigations, hearings and the capturing of training for SETA grant application.2) - 2021 - present: Time & Attendance Administrator - set up the T&A system optimally. Consulted with department heads regarding issues being experienced. Performed root cause analysis and resolved problems. Refined the use of the system and identified further ways to put it to use to improve T&A performance.

Assisting identification and intervention towards work environment hazards and risks, as well as safety procedures.

To support the Academic Department by delivering education and student consultations – based on development and delivery of learning content, leading student engagement, conducting continuous assessments and checking in with at-risk students.

Collaborated in a research project that was the first of its type in South Africa and included formulation of preliminary groundwork. Activities entailed root cause analysis, research design, stakeholder engagement and strategic partnerships, qualitative investigation, scale development, quantitative analysis.

Guided students towards proactive retention of class content and preparation for assessment, thereby improving academic performance.

To complete administrative tasks on behalf of the HR Manager – such as filing, typing emails and letters on the Manager’s behalf, proofreading formal documents; second opinion in evaluation of policies, processes, and performance management criteria; further insight for grounding HR research project towards deaf and hard-of-hearing employees.
