My aim is to collaborate with event teams to enhance the value of their events. At Blaze Streaming, we achieve this by harnessing the power of video production and its numerous opportunities. My role involves partnering with event teams to develop ongoing successful projects that consistently benefit the community.We are at a pioneering stage of augmenting event experiences through live and on-demand video. The COVID-19 pandemic presented a unique challenge, and it was a pivotal moment for us to support the industry during tough times. Now the question is, where does video fit today? Budgets are tight and last years ideas don't cut it. That is where I like to strategize, plan, and execute. Every event has its unique objectives, typically revolving around: Building Community Sharing Knowledge Creating RevenueBuilding Community:I have been working with Automattic, the creators of WordPress, since 2010 to produce WordCamp USA. This conference is broadcasted online, allowing live participation from across the globe. The content is archived on WordPress.tv, providing a free, global resource.Sharing Knowledge:I collaborate with various medical associations to disseminate new research through different formats like poster boards, sessions, and symposiums. Our most extensive medical event features 20 live concurrent sessions over six days, enabling global live participation and interactive Q&A sessions. This approach democratizes access to the latest research, especially for those unable to travel. The on-demand video content is organized and searchable, ensuring medical professionals can access the latest information through association archives.Creating Revenue:My work with the Game Developers Conference involves recording each session and making these videos accessible to professionals via gdcvault.com memberships. Additionally, these resources are available to students through partnerships with campus libraries. Our archive, dating back to 2010, includes over 7,500 videos, serving as a valuable resource for the community.About Me: Married for 23 years with two teenage kids.
