My interests lie in the field of international political economy and the effects of globalization on state and non-state players, as well as the social underpinnings, with a keen interest in the development of the modern Chinese state.Working for overseas branches of American and Chinese banks, most recently as a relationship manager in Bank of China's offshore credit business, has given me valuable insights into the international securities and trust business and the nature of cross border capital flows.Having been recently granted a Chinese government scholarship I am now researching the relationship between the world economy and China at Beijing Normal University.My ambition is to expand my network of like-minded professionals active in international business and entrepreneurship in a world in which time and space are gradually contracting.
