Design, the culture and all the processes that surround it have dominated my life for over 20 years in the industry. My work spans across many disciplines and sectors with strong emphasis on brand, strategy and creative direction. I specialise in experiential design with a background in architecture/regeneration and interactive design, this has led me to curate and design for exhibitions and installations around the world. I have a genuine passion for the built environment, in specific placemaking, community engagement, signage/wayfinding and activation and feel design represents a significant opportunity to help deliver strategic objectives, set world-class standards and reinforce the distinctive imprint of towns and cities. I sit on the RIBA Better Places board, ensuring the delivery of design within the public-realm.I have strong links with education including a two year stint teaching at Shillington College and lecturing around the UK. I take pride in discovering and nurturing new design talent and enjoy sharing knowledge. This passion for sharing has led me set up and co-curate 'Design Manchester' a week long festival of design in collaboration with The Manchester School of Art, Arts Council and Manchester City Council.Alongside this work I am a co-founder of arts and culture venue Lost Horizon in Bristol, merging a real world cultural program alongside immersive worldbuilding via the Metaverse.
