• Director of the most significant reforms in Council's history, leading a cross Council effort to overhaul the governing structure, organisational structure, grants programs, assessment criteria and assessment processes. This work was delivered through significant internal and external stakeholder engagement and in line with the recommendations of the 2012 Australia Council review, commissioned by the Federal Government.• Key contributor to drafting the Australia Council Act, 2013 and architect of the subsequent governance overhaul. Included a move from a representative governing Board with standing sub committees to a modern, skills-based board and the disbanding of standing sub committees. Liaising with the Remuneration Tribunal over Board and Chair remuneration.• Led organisational restructure with a central focus on client service replacing a disparate and siloed model in place since the 1970s. • Simplification of more than 145 grant programs into a core suite of 5 programs offered quarterly with consistent assessment criteria, eligibility and assessment processes.• Introduction of a rotating pool of peer assessors in place of static 'art form' boards to carry out assessment.

• Ongoing analysis of corporate performance, including monitoring funding decisions, budget allocations and overall governance.

• Central role in the Development of the strategic direction of the HLF with responsibility for the implementation of business processes, including integrating carbon foot printing requirements for applicants.• Program Manager of £1m grant scheme All Our Stories in partnership with the BBC.• Leading on internal and public facing grant management system development and delivery, including managing IT contractors.• Central role in internal communications across Management Board and 12 regional offices, including advising staff on procurement, recruitment and project management.• Member of strategic planning board, branding committee, records management group and digital technology group.
