•Responsible for development and implementation of the company’s international ESG disclosure strategy aligned with voluntary reporting standards (GHG Protocol, GRI, SASB, TCFD), regulatory requirements (SEC, EU CSRD), external surveys (CDP, DJSI, EcoVadis), and ratings and rankings agencies (Sustainalytics, MSCI, FTSE4GOOD, JUST Capital)•Formalized the ESG reporting process across over 150 metrics to standardize the collection, review, and validation of data prior to inclusion in external-facing disclosures. Designed and implemented a management review control for each metric and passed internal audit reviews with no findings or items of concern.•Co-led the development of the company’s inventory management plan for Scope 1, 2, and 3 GHG emissions in preparation for setting a science-based target •Prepared standard operating procedures and policy manuals for front-line workers to reference when submitting data for environmental metrics (energy, water, waste) and also used to calculate emissions for tracking and reporting progress against SBT and other relevant climate goals•Managed RFP, vendor selection, and led project coordination and execution for energy audits, renewable energy strategy, Scope 3 and SBT support, as well as external assurance over select environmental and social metrics.•Received the 2023 Chief Legal & Compliance Officer Award for the updated ESG reporting process resulting in audit-compliant climate disclosures and the successful publication of the 2022 ESG Report

•Provide assurance and ESG strategy consulting services to public and private Fortune 500 clients regarding the measurement and disclosure of ESG KPIs in standalone corporate ESG reports, integrated annual reports, financial filings, and CDP responses.−KPIs follow GRI, SASB, SBTi, and TCFD guidelines and include: Scope 1/2/3 emissions, carbon neutrality claims, net zero emissions, water withdrawal, water replenishment, waste management, renewable energy percentage, human rights compliance, use of recycled materials, and eco-efficient products.•Work with client leadership to develop sustainability strategies that include GHG emissions reduction goals, sustainability governance, and reporting structures. Utilized the GRI materiality assessment framework to identify and define material sustainability topics.•Lead presentations on ESG market trends, reporting best practices, and regulatory compliance to client ESG committees, C-Suite executives, and boards of directors; lead on-site workshops with clients to discuss sustainability strategies, potential KPIs, and conceptualize reporting strategies.•Experience working with clients in technology, pharmaceutical, consumer product, manufacturing, utilities, private equity, asset management, and oil and gas with footprints spanning multiple continents and service lines.

As a consultant at Breea, I focus on strategically enhancing the operational and financial performance of sophisticated REIT, institutional, and privately owned real estate portfolios. Our team helps build strategy into operations to improve how existing building systems are operated and facility supplies and services are procured.

-Developed a strategic energy management plan that included recommendations to improve organizational-wide energy efficiency through LED lighting retrofits, HVAC setback strategies in operating rooms, retro-commissioning studies, and employee engagement initiatives.-Identified energy-related industry associations and national recognition opportunities for Mayo Clinic to prioritize based on current and projected energy performance, and established meaningful connections with industry peers, the Department of Energy, and the EPA’s ENERGY STAR program.

-Conducted on-site energy audits of commercial real estate assets to evaluate building performance against sustainability metrics and generated reports highlighting energy and water performance, capital improvement projects, and operational best practices. -Provided data management services in ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager and energy efficiency technical support to a portfolio of over 100 office, multifamily, and retail commercial properties, representing over 10,000,000 sf and 90,000,000 kWh of annual energy consumption.-Supported property teams throughout the energy efficiency project implementation process including, developing and responding to RFPs, conducting project financial analysis, identifying and securing utility incentives, and developing public case studies.-Facilitated a state-wide LED lighting retrofit campaign across a client’s portfolio of 28 commercial multifamily buildings and retail shopping centers located in Texas, resulting in over $200,000 in annual energy cost savings. Managed a team comprised of clients, property management staff, and lighting contractors, authored internal and external case studies summarizing campaign successes, and successfully procured 2 national recognition awards. -Developed and submitted 2 successful applications on behalf of clients for the ENERGY STAR Partner of the Year award, the highest honor offered to an organization by the EPA for excellence in energy management. -Coordinated with third party billing providers and property management staff to analyze master-metered energy and water utility cost recovery practices. Identified over $3,000,000 in additional income for real-estate owners generated using alternative methodologies of recovering utility costs from residents at over 50 commercial multifamily properties that complied with local and state regulations.

Carried out the sales process lifecycle: generated leads, constructed proposals, managed subcontractors, submitted permitting, secured utility rebates, identified financing mechanisms, calculated financial return on investments using pro-formas.

-Organized and presented monthly educational workshops titled, “The Basics of Going Solar”, to over 50 community members and local solar energy and energy efficiency professionals in an established partnership with Alachua County. -The workshop presented information on solar energy technologies, basic energy savings calculations, and incentives to assist participants with taking control of their energy future.
