Opticon is part of UXC after a buy out in 2001 and the role then became cross organisation.The role was varied and focussed on the business development and delivery of large call centre briefs - the Defence Service Centre in Cooma, The Office of Fair Trading in NSW and Y2K remediation for the Emergency Services in the ACT to name a few.

Implemented the Genesys platform after running a tender. Looked after the CCEB Desk officer position for Australia. Managed the SIC codes and ACP127/128 ASNZ SUP and generally was the SO Comms for the HQADF War room. Highlights were the Fiji Coup where we coordinated the comms for the Aust Navy and the many visits overseas on the CCEB conferences.

Commanded a small troop of Line soldiers. Responsible for the deployment of switchboard services in the field using FATS and SB3614. Deployed to WA for the Ex K83.
