The Rocket House team is made up by experienced professionals currently working at some of the most exclusive and creative Pre-Preps in London which give us a unique understanding of the families we work with. Seeing how modern family dynamics have changed and recognising the financial and professional challenges teachers face today, we decided to create The Rocket House. A safe platform where educators can offer their knowledge and services to match local families’ needs.We are a recommendation only agency so we can best support the close community of families and teachers we work with. All occasional care such babysitting and after school will be managed through our App which is launching late in January! This will be accessible through paid memberships.Not just babysitting. Our teachers are qualified to work in nurseries and schools, experienced and with a secure knowledge of child development and the National curriculum. We also have holiday teachers, mentors and specialist teachers who can inspire your children to pursuit further talents such as languages, music, drama, art or ballet. All our teachers have a clear enhanced DBS check and relevant references. It does not end there… as part of our initiative to support teachers, our business model not only brings in work flexibility for educators and peace of mind for families. We also reward recommendations, and we will be one of the first educational companies to share profits with the teachers who become part of our tribe. Founder and Head of Chelsea Pre-Prep which has received back to back 'Outstanding' by Ofsted in 2010 & 2016. School was rated in the top 5 schools in the UK according to Nursery World for 2013. Stuart was a finalist in the prestigious NMT Awards for Head Teacher of the Year 2013. Stuart also initiated the London Nursery Consortium and recently was listed as "Top 5 Most Inspirational People in Early Years" in the UK by NMT.
