I spent 10 years working in IT, specialising in infrastructure support and management before eventually migrating to more general IT management roles. Subsequently, I moved to Cranfield University where I was involved in teaching, research and consultancy. I developed and co-ordinated the Software Engineering for Technical Computing option of the Computational and Software Techniques in Engineering MSc course, as well as delivering several of the modules.I spent 8 years working in commercial software engineering roles, initially at the Aircraft Research Association, as a Presales Software Application Engineer at RealVNC and as a Sales Engineer at Undo, working in San Francisco.I returned to Cranfield University as a lecturer in Computational Intelligence and Data Analytics, focusing on the application of Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence techniques to computational engineering and computer vision. More recently I became the Course Director for the MSc in Computational & Software Techniques in Engineering.
