CFO of a public REIT (INN - NYSE). Spearheaded the initial public offering for Summit in 2011. Completed three follow-on common stock offerings and three preferred stock offerings raising over $900 million in equity. Closed on over $1 billon in secured and unsecured debt to fund the acquisition of 50 additional select-service hotels and identified and supervised the sale of 22 less strategic hotels. Responsible for all accounting, capital markets, debt financing, reporting to board of directors, investor relations (including developing and maintaining relationships with nine leading hotel/real estate financial analysts and institutional investors and related analysts.)

Partner and CFO for a private investment company providing alternative investments in hotels, multifamily and energy via private placement offerings to accredited investors through Summit's national broker/dealer network. At the holding company oversaw the capital raises, debt placements, acquisitions and dispositions, accounting, communications for investors, and other related responsibilities. Took the hotel investment public in 2011 and took on the role of public CFO.
