Key Accountabilities:• Ensuring all HSS goods are accepted into depot, and correctly sent out for deliveries.• Ensuring all delivery runs are manned, and arrange cover for holidays and sickness. • Liaising with management to ensure the smooth operation of the HSS contract.• Opening up the depot on a weekend.• Accurately completing all records of work and documentation e.g. tachos, driving hours etc. connected with transit of goods in accordance with legal requirements and company regulations and standards • Delivering hire equipment regionally in a professional manner• Understanding company policies of fuel driving efficiencies, preserving tyre usage and being more environmental aware • Checking goods on and off and obtaining proof of delivery documentation, whilst ensuring security of the vehicle and goods contained during transit to customer premises• Accurately completing paperwork for customers delivery’s notes and well as any returning products • Safeguarding, maintaining and fostering good customer relations• Manual handling /delivery of product• A sound knowledge of the national road network• Excellent customer service skills• Working within a physically demanding environment
