Current- Providing consulting services on international development projects funded by multilateral (UNDP, IDB, CDB, ESCAP) and bilateral agencies (CIDA, EU, DFID, ComSec). - Design, develop, implement and monitor and evaluate aid projects and programs, including at the country planning level. - My focus has been on providing country-led development and capacity-building efforts in small enterprise development, sustainable tourism, strengthening public sector management and donor/aid coordination. - My assignments have included both long-term technical assistance postings and short-term country programming missions, feasibility studies and monitoring and evaluation assignments. - Paramount throughout this work has been the need to develop ways of maximizing sustainability on projects while minimizing the effects on the partner’s and recipient’s scarce human and financial resources – particularly when taking into consideration the capacity constraints of small island developing states and other vulnerable countries.
