Before joining CBRE and carrying out the roles you can read later my last role with Carillion saw me since November 2016 line manage a cluster of Change Managers and Change Management support as well as matrix manage a number of other Change Managers and functional experts to provide the lead for FM mobilisation/transition programmes of mostly new contract start-ups across Carillion’s support services Business.This became due to Carillion's liquidation in January 2018 providing the lead for the transition of Carillion's FM support services contracts back to a mix of new FM providers and back in-house to clients. This saw me work with the Liquidators (PWC) in the transitioning of 135 FM contracts by the time I myself left on 31st August 2018, starting with CBRE in September of 2018. A career of 28 years in the FM industry, working on both the client (financial services – private sector) and Service Provider (Mowlem and Carillion) side of things, across both operations (FM, Senior FM and Account Manager roles) and change management (Project Manager, Mobilisation Manager, Senior Change Manager, Centres of Excellence and overall FM Mobilisation Programme and Portfolio lead roles) saw me develop in to what people tell me is a highly experienced FM contract set up professional and a go-to person for all different types of support services change management.I am qualified as a PRINCE2 practitioner and been able to tailor and apply this to FM through combining it with my 19 years full time FM change management roles, including as Mowlem’s (first) Mobilisation Manager, 11 years as a Carillion Senior Change Manager and most recently the last 4 years as lead for FM mobilisations/transitions, M&A integration and business transformation projects across Europe, Middle East and Africa geographies (and for data centres globally) with my 10 years of previous operations experience. During my time as a day-to-day Mobilisation and Change Manager my successful FM contract set ups have gone across markets and include communities and regions such as train franchises and health; central and local government; and corporate. Independent BSI; Deloitte and Government Gateway reports confirm that success.
