British Telecoms, Aldershot, UK​ October 1999 – February 2010B2 Engineer​​Key Responsibilities:• PCP Changovers• Install and change over faulty exchange and distribution cables• Installing exchange cables to MDF and terminate• Installing Distribution points into customers’ premises and terminate• Working on large projects moving and terminating cables• Locating and measuring customer faults and repairing• Using testing equipment• Pair diversions – from MDF to external and internal DP’S• Working on trunk cables between exchanges• Installing CAT cables in supermarkets for pricing systems• Working on overhead cables and poles• Time sheets• Use of internal computer software• Shift work (on call)
