Head Of Finance Systems
CurrentJob Purpose:Own how data is structured and aggregated across the Financial reporting and transactional systems of the business (Owl, Netsuite), including financial data strategy and post merger financial data integration. Designing and building best-in-class, efficient reporting solutions and maintaining data integrity, quality and transparency. Design, introduce and maintain appropriate processes to ensure data integrity.Key Responsibilities:- Team leadership of 5 FTEs covering design and build of reporting solutions as well as Finance systems master data management- Evaluate, design, implement, test and deliver appropriate reporting solutions within Future’s transactional and MI finance systems- Initiate and drive continuous improvement in financial reporting and associated systems, processes and policies.- Manage data integration activity related to future M&A e.g. mapping of customer/vendor accounts. AR/AP/GL balance uploades, Hive up activity and historic comparative loads in Owl.- Support users across finance by advising how data is structured, and accessed efficiently across finance systems and processes- Represent the Finance function as subject matter expert (SME) on delivery of IT projects in relation to data structures and reporting design. Assist in detailed functional testing of upgrades and enhancements.- Work with key stakeholders on change needs resolving cross process and end-to-end business process issues- Enhance the efficiencies of finance activities - understand where manual intervention is needed in data handling and propose ways to streamline or automated processes.- Manage the integrity of finance system data structures including chart of accounts, customer and supplier accounts, user accounts, budget data and line management of the Master Data officer.- Build awareness of capability of Netsuite/Owl and advise on future development or enhancement needs
